About Our New Laboratory Information Management System
The future of better customer service is here! As Barrow-Agee Laboratories continues to show its commitment to high-quality customer service and delivering timely test results, we are proud to announce we have made another capital investment to help support our growth to better serve our customers. Barrow-Agee recently began the process of integrating an updated Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), the new WinLims software platform, which will enable us to deliver the highest level of quality customer service you deserve.
“We chose to upgrade to WinLIMS because so many of its features directly translate to better overall experiences for our customers,” said Roger Beers, CEO. “With the new system, our customers will be able to complete and send Sample Submission Forms, access their customized reports, and get detailed test results electronically, all in one place.”
The new LIMS underlines our commitment to delivering the highest level of customer service with fast turnaround times and accurate results. The new program will expand on our current LIMS’ capabilities and will provide:
- Better access to reporting
- A better, more streamlined user experience
- Immediate access to results when they are published
- Notifications/alerts when results are ready
- Additional information included in test results
What Else Will an Upgraded Laboratory Information Management System Provide?
Upgrading to the WinLIMS program provides flexibility in the testing and reporting process to fit each customer’s specific needs. The new program is inherently multi-lingual and enables approvals at the sample, batch, and request levels. The powerful system utilizes calculation, instrument calibration and maintenance, and integrated reporting and auditing trails to ensure reported information is accurate. The reports customers receive are customizable, and results will be delivered on time, every time.
As we implement the new LIMS our goal is to make the process one seamless transition so we do not disrupt or impact our customers in any way.
